Meet & greet upon arrival in Tangier Ville Port or pick up from your accommodation in Tangier. You’ll have a nice drive through the spectacular Rif Mountains with its snow-capped peaks in the winter..

You may want to include a short break for a drink before continuing on the track to the blue-village.

Once you arrive in Chefchaouen Medina, you may want to start your guided tour by the Utta el-Hamam Square, which is located in the heart of the Medina.

Adjacent to the Square is the dramatic Kasbah that was built by the Berber warrior Moulay Ali Ibn Rashid in the 15th century to fight against the Spanish & Portuguese Invaders.

The late Sultan Moulay Ismail turned it into main residence in the 17th century and the Spanish used as a prison from 1912 to 1956.

You’ll get inspired by the unique architecture of the Great Mosque. Meander around the intricate streets that are painted in blue leading to the Ras el-Ma Spring. The views from this point are stunning with women washing clothes and carpets while boys are playing soccer in the field.

Walk back to the Square following different streets with its bustling souks full of shops that sell small items with affordable prices. You may want to have a delicious meal in the Square while watching the passers-by as a way to fully absorb the local culture.

In the late afternoon, you’ll drive back to Tangier through the Rif Mountains so that you can join your ferry or to be dropped off in your accommodation in Tangier.
